The Go! Team

I’d always liked the song from the short preview vids of the ‘Little Big Planet‘ game. I found out last night from Dock that the music is actually from a real band, it’s not just a soundtrack. The Go! Team as it turns out are also a UK based band. I’ve been listening to both their albums non-stop since yesterday now. They’re great! If you visit their site, they have some preview tracks playing on it.

If I hear about them playing any local gigs, which seeing as they are UK based, they probably will, I’m going to have to catch me a show!

Shoppaholic Me

While most people are probably purchasing Phantom Hourglass on the DS, I find myself getting a hold of Touch Detective (called Mystery Detective in the UK, no idea why). It’s mainly because I’d seen this game ages ago and I’d considered picking it up before, but then totally forgot it existed until yesterday.

Wing had lent me her copy of Phoenix Wright a few weeks ago and I finally got round to playing it earlier this week and haven’t been able to put it down since.

I’m odd in a way, in that I see people playing games and I’m intrigued by them and want to play them too, but then I never get round to it. I’ve been wanting to give Phoenix Wright a try since it first came out as I’d seen Emma playing it and she was totally addicted. In fact, everyone around me who played the game (local and international) seemed to be addicted. Now I can see why.

I’ve been on a bit of a game buying binge, as I nabbed myself a copy of Rogue Galaxy (PS2) and Folklore (PS3) too, which are both Action based RPG games. I’ve heard good things about Rogue Galaxy (Space Pirates RPG? Fuck Yeah!) and I’ve played two demo’s of Folklore that got released via the PS3 store. I’m satisfied that I’d made a couple of good purchases.

My Sims DS, Bioshock and Assassin’s Creed are next on my list.
