Nationality: British (originally from Palestine)
Location: London, United Kingdom
Birthday: 12th April 1979 I’m passionate about telling stories. I had done this in many forms, from poetry to prose but have found that I’m most comfortable expressing myself through script writing for comics. I’ve found it to be a satisfying experience. There’s always something new to learn.
In late 2009, I released my latest self-published title “Talking to Strangers”, available for sale online at Sweatdrop.Com. A collection of 5 short stories I’d written, featuring artwork from Nana Li, Wing Yun Man, Chloe Citrine and Faye Yong. You can find an assortment of favourable reviews for the title here.
My most recent published short story (The Forgotten Incident of San Sabian) appeared in ‘Best New Manga 2‘ in the 4th Quarter of 2007. I had also previously contributed to the first ‘Best New Manga’ anthology.
I am proud to have been one of the original core members of the fantastic Sweatdrop Studios, the leading UK manga collaborative and independent publisher. I’ve contributed to many anthologies published by the group and have released my own self-published titles with them, such as ‘co_OKiE‘.
Below is a list of titles I’ve worked on or anthologies I’ve contributed to, with links to their previews and places to purchase them from. I’d appreciate it if you would buy a book or two… or three!
